I mean, I knew a few guys who only know how to play a few songs like "Jessica's Theme" from The Man From Snowy River, just 'cuz they know that gals like it when you can act all cool by just sittin' down at the piano and playing something other than "Chopsticks" (or others can pick up an acoustic guitar and play a few songs, just to impress the ladies...), and there are others (um, like me) who at least know some chords and can play some things by ear (and may be learning to play more stuff - in my case), but do ya happen to know if Milo can really play the piano?

I really wasn't watchin' to see if it even looked like he was actually playin', but it looked like he was pressin' down on the keys, at least. Not like he has to be as good as Noah Gray-Cabey or anything, though.

Just curious. It's kinda fun to see actors and actresses showin' some other talents (like singing, dancing or playing a musical instrument, or stuff like flyin' a plane...) or skills; to me, it shows how the person is willing and/or curious enough to pursue more interests or talents than just acting.

Kinda like, to me, it was fun to see that Steve Martin was pretty adept at the 5-string banjo (some info here - I saw him on Jimmy Fallon in June playin' a fun tune he composed)...

Anyway, just thought I'd ask. Probably not many opportunities for an actor or actress to play the piano on HEROES, but just thought it was cool to know if Milo could...

If he doesn't, at least he made a good impression of Peter being able to play. Or rather, of Peter having been ushered to piano lessons for a time by his upper-class family before they gave up on his quiet but stubborn resistance. It was a very nice, subtle bit of characterization.

Yeah, I couldn't tell if he was playin' 'cuz it was natural (something Milo could do), or supposed to be a character trait for Peter, and it's not like he was playin' a whole song to see if he actually could play something, but it was neat to have that moment.

Kinda related - I clicked on the banner ad that's makin' its rounds in the header above to go to the site, and in the bts interview of Milo, it was cool to hear that he's directed stuff since he was 25. So I was wonderin' about his other talents/skills, and he tells about one... Still not an indication of his musical talent, though...

I don't know either, but the scene was excellent! Maybe will see the two of them play a small concert in the hospital. Peter on the piano and Emma on the Cello

even though he wasnt playing a 'chord', the look of spreading fingers across key's does give the impression that you can play, even if the notes played are discordant. (if I remember correctly he only played two key's at the same time, with a few single key's at other times)

Piano's one of those instruments that's easy to blag the 'look' of being able to play even when it;s clear that you obviously sound like you cant.
