this was a great way of adding some backround story to some of the newer audiences. setting it up in a way that was not boring for the dedicated viewers (that means us lol)

They really need to do this with a few people that they want to keep around for a long time to try and reestablish a solid footing with the viewers.

The writers are completely doing a turn for the better this season and i applaud tim kring for his work to redeem the show.

I liked it. Good stuff!

Okay, so are all his Sylar memories back?

He isn't fully Sylar as we know him, that much is clear, but does he have all the Sylar memories?

I ask because I have a bet riding on this. I bet a friend that Sylar would have all his memories back by the end of the episode.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't.

At the end, Samuel describes him as a baby, Edgar implies that he's useless 'like this', and Samuel said maybe it's better that they can make a better Sylar. It all points to Sylar having not regained all his memories. All he saw in the mirror room were people he killed and he even ran out before that was done.

He has his memories back BUT Nathans soul is still INSIDE of Sylar's body... this is why he isnt completly himself yet
To hell with Angela Petrelli for not letting his son rest in peace!
Nathan's soul is trapped on earth inside the body of a psycho killer. horrible.

now that i think of it...Maybe nathan lost his soul forever, only matt could save him now, not sure.

That was an amazing scene that was just well-done. I loved how the new Sylar can't believe that he did all that. Nathan's persona is rubbing off on him indeed because he wouldn't kill the cop like when he would have done it originally.

I said it in a different thread, but I'll repeat it here.

I thought that the acting in that scene was amazing, and I liked how they showed (most) of the people he killed.

And I totally thought that when the cop asked him, "What are you?" that he was going to reply, "I am Sylar." I was kind of disappointed when he didn't. sad.gif

So since I bet that Sylar would have his memories back by the end of the episode, I still have to pay up.

Yeah! Someone thought the same I did! LOL

Tabby (Sylar's body) doesn't have his soul, which is trapped inside Matt's head. Until his body and his soul get together, Sylar won't be Sylar, but someone with some memories that feel like they don't belong to him.

Hopefully, we'll see Sylar's soul and Matt on next episode called Strange Attractors

For half a second I thought "wouldn't it be hilarious if Tabby said his name was Peter" but Nathan makes much more sense.

Should be interesting to see what the Carnival people are calling him next episode. Although in this Edgar and Samuel did both call him Sylar.

Also I thought he was gonna say "I am Sylar" to the cop too. Kinda glad he didn't, it would be obvious.

They should definitely start calling him "Tabby" laugh.gif

I think that's just us calling him that. tongue.gif
