I've seen this "Star" several times in the last couple episodes everywhere around the Carnival..
Is this the symbol for the carnival?

I think so, it's a common symbol for carnivals, at least I think it is.

On a related note, the symbols on the floor of the Hall of Mirrors reminded me of the Evil Eye.

Ha, good catch. It kind of looks like the compass symbol to me, actually.

The top star is a Jewish star.(6 points)

The bottom one is a 5 point star, pentagram, pointing down so represents evil. How fitting for Sylar to hold. smile.gif

The pentagram isn't necessarily an evil symbol.

The pentagram isn't necessarily an evil symbol.

It's not evil when Wiccans use it, otherwise it's maily used for evil.

the ferris wheel star has six points and the bottom picture star only has five points

yes, but if you check the episodes where u see the carnival, both of them are seen in several scenes...

Really nice catch!

I do believe, and this is just from mental recollection, that the compass has a similar design. I like this discovery.

I wouldn't read too much into the star thing, it is a pretty common symbol especially at a carnival.

I don't even think those stars are anything too special. The 6 pointed star does not have internal lines and wouldn't really remind people of a star of David, also the 5 pointed star would need internal lines as well to be a pentagram.

I think the compass would be the symbol to be on the lookout for. A 4 pointed star might be significant.

Or 8-pointed, if you're particular.
