Full Version: Sylar's Ascension

I keep seeing little threads & posts here and there that Sylar's time is up and they are going to kill him off soon..LOL, not going to happen

Sylar is the almighty glue which holds this show together.

Here's why:

Nobody gets the best of him, even with that mindjob that Matt did on him, he still lives and is allready almost Sylar again.

He's in an entire family of superpowered carnies now and once he gets the rest of his mind back from Matt, he's going to take them all but empathetically instead of by brain slicing, why? because they will be his army

The only one who he'll kill is Samuel because we know Samuel isn't going to like Sylar running the show and Sylar will have to put him down (too bad cause I think t-bag is a great addition to the show), however, I have a theory that Samuel is the one that killed Joseph so he could lead the carnies, and I think we'll all find that out at some point, so like any out of line animal, he must be put down and Lord Sylar will be the one to do it!

He'll kill Edgar as well for disrespecting him (nobody should disrespect a God!)

Sylar's been through it all, however, he's not truly evil

He's saved lives before and now that he doesn't need to slice and dice to take powers, he can just get them all through empathy, therefore adding more HEBs to his army

Yes, yes he was on a power trip and killed some innocents but that Sylar is gone and in the long run, its made him a better person.

When he thought he had a family (arthur, angela), he was good and we know there is good in him, but there's something you folks need to understand; all that power can warp someone's mind as it did to Sylar. He was weak minded but now he is on the path to his ascension to being a God!

He now has all the powers he needs right at his disposal from his new family. They will become his apostles.

Peter will try to stop him but will eventually learn his place in all of this. He will even get his ability back to get other abilities. How you ask? Easy, Sylar will let him take it as a God could always use a good right-hand man. Lord Sylar need not fear anyone including Peter. Peter too will accept his new God as will you all

When Samuel said "lets build a new Sylar", what he really is doing is building a new God.

Now, everyone take a deep breathe and accept that fact that he isn't going anywhere and whenever they do kill him off (what's this, the 10th time now he died and was ressurected?), it will only be temporary for a ratings boost & nothing more

Bless you Lord Sylar!

Sylar

Bow to Lord Sylar, he is NEVER leaving the show, capsice?

If you know this for a fact, it's a spoiler.

If you are guessing about the entire future of one character on the show, it belongs in speculation.

Wuuuuuut?

Yeah, only, y'know, not.

Eh, I give this an A for effort, but a C for sarcasm/satire.

I'm making these theories based upon the events in Tabula Rasa but I see how it could be speculation as well, if it ends up on that forum, that's cool too

I really like your sense of humor. laugh.gif
Although I could laugh more heartily, if there wasn't the slight chance that the writers really think this way about Sylar...

I very much doubt they will kill Sylar, if anything they will kill Hiro. I truly hope they don't kill Peter, that would be lame!

Greg Grunberg twittered that yes, an original character will be killed off 'for realzies' - well, that word comes from ZQ's latest BTD mini-movie, Hostage - so, it seems to me that it'll be Sylar imo

Umm... Ok, I will try to reply to you without falling in the temptation of laughing at your face (I said I will try, no promises)

When I was reading your post, I figured out that you may not know that Sylar has something called "The Hunger", a psychological disorder that comes with Intuitive Aptitude (Sylar's ability, by the by). The Hunger is what makes him kill, and he can't control The Hunger, why? Because he isn't strong enough. Up to now, the only way he could stop The Hunger was when he believed Arthur and Angela were his parents. Seemingly, love is the only thing that makes him not to kill. Same happened in the exposed future, he had a child to love, that's why he was a "good person".

You also wrote some things about the empathic side of Sylar's ability. Yeah, how many abilities did he took by empathy? Oh, right... ONE! He only took Electrokinesis from Elle, and even after he already had her ability, he killed her. ¬¬

And now, you're saying that he's going to take all the carnies' abilities by empathy, that he's now a better person who doesn't want to kill anymore... Are you serious? The only reason he doesn't want to kill is because he doesn't have The Hunger! The Hunger, as the psychologic disorder that is, its in the Sylar in Matt's head. As soon as the mind and the body get together again, Sylar is going to be again the villain we all know, with The Hunger and superpowered, who was reeeaaally cool at first, but after 4 volumes of the same, is extremely boring and they should definitely kill him off once and for all.

I'm really hoping to see Hiro killing Sylar now that he's traveled three years to the past, when Sylar was poor a powerless watchmaker, that would be the greatest thing it could ever happen in Heroes.

Dude... after reading your rant, I only have one question for you.

Was this the first time you have smoked pot?

If Sylar gets killed off the show there will be no reason for me to keep watching. Ok, I probably will keep watching but bitterly and with deplore. If nothing else they are changing him and making a new Sylar. Aren't you listening to the show?
Petrelli048
I really think Samuels plan is to finally end Sylar so then he could be the main big bad. Just based off the last episode this blank slate Sylar is showing weakness since he didn't want to kill the cop. Sylar might be changing for the better but I really think this is the end of him.

The only thing I must unfortunately disagree about is that he kills only because of the hunger cause it was showcased in the show already that he still enjoys killing someone if he needs their ability even without the hunger beind active.

Like in the Sue Landers case as example that "felt so good" to him. :/

I think they are going to turn Matt evil with the corrupt part of Sylar and give new life to the character, while giving both ZQ and AP a role to play once the Nathan-hybrid regains control of his mind, giving the show a balance with the super powered brothers. It won't be quite nathan, but it will be a man with a good heart, who loves his family and will be a hero, something neither Nathan or Sylar were by themselves.
dalbrin
That sounds pretty reasonable to me ROC. It'd be pretty cool to see what a villain with telepathy could really do on the show...Arthur relied mostly on his other powers and Maury was used pretty much as a foil for Matt and a plot device to get Parkhearst or whatever Arthur's special company was named together.
