Okay claires blood was given a decent explanation.. What happens now, when someone dies... "How come they didn't call the healing boy, to heal him or her?!"

Sounds like a plot hole to me.

That's your answer to everything mon!

Well Jeremy (Healing boy) cannot heal the dead. So once someone is dead he'll be of no help. As for Claire's blood, it's been discussed at length how silly it was for the writers to introduce that.

I guess the'll have to come up with more inventive ways to kill people off. Like if you die in a fire (as in body turned to complete ash) or get beheaded, there is probably no coming back from that.

Is Healing and Claire's Blood the same?
fARSIGHT
Healing has been a power on Heroes since Season 1 with Linderman... And really, with that many people in the real world claiming they can heal by simply laying hands on someone, it's not that farfetched that it is made into a superpower in Heroes... So if it didn't screw anything up in Season 1 I think the writers can manage to make it work again this time...

There is an important difference between the use of Claire's blood and the healer's power. Anyone that Claire knows can just carry a vial of her blood wherever they go, so they are practically invulnerable 24/7 everywhere... And since Claire can survive and almost instantly replenish her supply even if you drain all the blood from her to use to save an entire army, you can create a very large storage easily. So that makes it very hard of anyone to die...

With the healer, just like Linderman he must be there in person to focus on a single individual for it to work... So if you happen to get shot fatally anywhere that isn't within minutes of travelling distance to the healer, you are pretty much dead unless A) someone can locate precisely where he is, and B ) someone else can teleport you there or carry you with superspeed to reach him (ex: Peter would have died if the healer wasn't right beside him)... And if there is a large number of people dying simultaneously, given that the healer must concentrate to ensure that he doesn't accidentally kill anyone, it's likely that he won't be able to help all of them at the same time...

Yeah, I saw a lot of talk like this one! The thing is it would assumes that our Heroes are on the run for saving the world, while actually they mostly looking for normal lifes, and dangerous situations kinda hit them independantly of their will... Maybe with the exception of Hiro.

Anyway, my point is you don't carry around a vial of heal-all blood while trying to have a normal life! tongue.gif

When Noah was healed with Claire's blood I immediately started hopign the Claire would realize this and maybe use it for good. I mean, Peter could at one point teleport and maybe he could've froze time while she injected her blood into the tubes of wounded/sick people in hospitals.

Sorry. The limit on Claire's ability is that it only works on specific types of illness/injury. There's also the fact that she has to be willing to let people take it.

Given how much she wants a normal life, I doubt she'd be willing to turn herself into a healing bank.

Also, how much blood can she give before she does damage to herself?

I always thought it would be awesome if Claire offered up her blood to be used to create cures for AIDS and Cancer. IF indeed her blood could be used to create cultures to do so. Still it would be a compromising postions for her. Surely we have all seen enough movies and tv shows to know that type of power in the wrong hands would never be good.

I wonder if that is even a factor. Granted Claire might not be aware of how much blood she could give. I remember her telling Bob to take as much blood as she wanted and then her joking about selling her kidneys twice to Nathan. So maybe she could do that an not have to worry becasue just as fast as she's losing blood her body is replenishing. Might work the same way with her organs. I'm assuming the only thing she wouldnt survive being completely removed is her brain. Maybe she could actually do a heart transplant while alive. Though how would they stop her from healing as soon as the incision is made.

Wow I kinda took that and ran with it didn't I.

That's simple: The Haitian. Since he can "turn off" powers while they are in his radius it would be really simple for him to stop her from healing. He would just have to be really careful to -turn his power off/restore Claires power- as soon as they made the last cut to remove Claires heart.
