Well, we got to see tonight how Samuel took care of the mansion his family lived and worked in. He obviously did this out of vengeance for Jeremy. So, he can just pull out the foundation brick by brick and presto; the building comes down and into a sinkhole. It's always good to see how abilities work later on.

Yes. I think that the writers are taking peoples' advice about explaining things. laugh.gif

As they rightfully should.

It was an spectacular demonstration of how awesome Samuel godsend is. Plus, somehow he 'crossed' the continent equipped with the knowledge needed to persuade both Tracy and Jeremy to join his family. He's truly formidable! What must the former leader, Samuel's big brother, have been like!?!

This has been a great season so far.

Agreed. It only makes me wonder if he could collapse a whole city if he wanted to or what the extent of his control is for that matter.

I like to think of Joseph as 'a Sylar that grew up with Peter's original godsend.' But I've been wrong before and before that...

This season has been fantastic so far in my opinion. I have really come to appreciate the surreal feeling that it has, especially when dealing with scenes concerning the Carnival.

Samuel has so far been a great antagonist (if you can even call that). I always thought that Papa Petrelli would be the ultimate bad guy if he had the same or similar godsend that Peter had. But Samuel has really come to surprise me in both his character and in the way the writers were able to creatively come up with ways to use his godsend in a way that would make him seem extremely powerful.

I would also agree that Joseph's godsend must in some way be related to absorbing or stealing, maintaining, and using multiple powers. Should he have come in contact with someone like Adam or Claire, then Samuel's words of,"Find your way home brother." would take on a whole new meaning.

As they film/write many, many episodes ahead, it's doubtful the scene came from our confusion but of their own device. Ye of little faith! tongue.gif
