Hi guys, I am new here. But never miss an episode since the first one.

I dont know if anyone will agree, but I would like to see something happen this season.

Peter get his full powers back.

It can happen.

Lets say he learns the truth about His Brother and Sylar. He ends up running into baby Matt Parkman and Ando.
Ando supercharges baby Matt Parkman and they both jolt Peter's real power back.

Peter is angry like never before and searches out Sylar.

Just as Peter finds out where he is, Sylar's memory is restored.

Peter confronts Sylar, absorbs all his power for an even match up and goes Nuclear on his butt.
A huge fight scene between the 2 and massive amounts of devastation destroys the Carnival where Sylar is staying.

Who wins? I dont know. I want peter to win. maybe he vaporizes Sylar.

Zachary Quinto is too good leave the show but look at all the others that are still around that have died.
Maybe a Sylar from an alternate future comes back so he is still on the show.

Welcome to 9th Wonders. I like your idea, it's the best case scenario for Peter to get his original ability back. If you peruse, there are a couple threads on Peter's power and speculation on it.

I'm interested in your idea of a hypertime Sylar crossing over into the show's timeline. I'm no fan of Sylar being around so long as the perennial Big Bad but they never could come up with another like-able psychopathic serial killer with powers on the show. sliced.gif

Thank you.

I was thinking about the paradoxes of time travel.

Like Caitlyn's fate. She may be destroyed, or she just may be living in an alternate universe that isnt connected directly to our timeline.

Now Hiro can only travel back and forth through time, and teleport through space. But he is the master of space and time and what if in his search for Charlie, he learns how to get to alternate timelines.
Now Peter can go back to when he and Caitlyn left to go to the Shanti virus future, then from there he can travel to the Shanti virus future himself and pull Caitlyn back. Its kind of an intersection of the 2 timelines.

Well, what if in the future where Sylar was president and Samurai Hiro and Peter went to battle him he killed Hiro and got his power.
Then Sylar learned how to jump over those intersecting timeline points and actually go directly to an alternate timeline.
And he comes into the current timeline

Or the Sylar that was the family man and Peter's brother when Peter traveled to the future to get Sylar's power.?

Thats just a drawn out idea of how to keep him on the show if Peter were to kill him. Which I really wanna see.

They couldn't write for Peter when he had his original powers.

They wrote poorly for Sylar until he got his mind wiped.

Continually over the course of the show with these two they've had to come up with ridiculous plot twists and making Sylar and Peter look plain unintelligent just to be able to get stories involving them out.

So, no, I dearly hope that Peter never gets his original ability back, and I hope that they either kill off or neuter Sylar as they did Peter.

To add, think about Samuel.

Samuel has one ability. Terrakinesis. Doesn't even seem that powerful at first glance, oooooh, look, I can move earth. And yet with under half of the season aired he's already a more interesting villain then we've seen since Linderman and, to a lesser extent, baseball-cap Sylar when we still hadn't seen his face and he was winging bullets back at FBI agents. Not to mention, extremely powerful. Clever writing has given him many ways to fight with and use his ONE ability

I'd take a well written character like Samuel or Linderman. over poorly written ones like OverPowered Peter or SuperSylar anyday. And the reason the latter two come off so poorly so often is precisely BECAUSE of their powers. With so many abilities, it's really hard to think of a way they couldn't get out of any situation, or win the battle/war in a heartbeat.

Exactly.

I issued a dare earlier, and nobody took me up on it for some reason. I wanted them to give me a single problem that Intelligent, Logical Thinking, Original Power, Peter couldn't get out of.

You can't do it, because he can get out of anything if you let him be GodPowered as well as Intelligent.
