I really liked how Hiro had to tell his past self and Ando that he did not have his sword and to forget about it. I hope to see it again myself and I’m sure we will soon. Hiro knows now that he does not need his sword all the time to use his powers. Do you think will see the sword again?

whatever happened to that thing anyway?

I hope P_Hiro doesn't take him too literally. He still needs the sword to run Sylar thru the gut while Nathan saves the world.

Wasn't it one of the set pieces in his new office at Yamagato in the opening episode of Volume Three? I do miss the Kensei but I guess it was a little too suspicious to be carrying around a sword when you're running away from the government at every turn.

EDIT: It looks like we didn't see the real deal since "Powerless"! In "The Second Coming," the Future Hiro swings at Future Ando but gets killed. In "The Butterfly Effect," Angela sees Hiro stabbed by his own sword. In "Dual," Kaito pulls the Kensei (or is it a duplicate?) on Hiro before Daphne whisks him away.

You know, I think the ''forget about the sword'' was somewhat a way to break the fourth wall (is that how you say it?). A way to tell the viewers: ''Forget that Future-Hiro still had the sword, future has changed and we have no plan to bring it back again'', or something!

Althought it'd be fun if he had it again! smile.gif

All of your threads sound the same.

"I really liked when Noah went to a motel. Lauren gave him the key and then Noah went to the hotel and unlocked the door with the key."

yet another plot device lost in a shaky timeline never to be seen again
habhero
The last time I saw it, or at least seen it used, Adam had the sword and was slicing through security guards at Primatech in an attempt to reach the Shanti virus. ("I beilieve this is mine, Karp.") After that, who knows?
Synch
Hiro reclaimed it at the cemetery when he buried Adam. That was the last it's been seen in the current timeline.
