Tonight; it was a real treat to see Claire again in her cheerleader outfit and with her squad including Jackie. However, she and her father Noah had a wonderful conversation and he told her that he originally wanted to be a teacher and teach Shakespeare in English classes. I guess this was before he met Thompson and he brought him to the Company. Anyways; I think he's doing that now in the present. He's realized the flaws he's made in his career and wants to make amends for it and he started in the last episode, which did not end well as we know. However, I think he's going to teach others how to use their abilities and how they can make a difference. What do you think?

i kinda wish that he finds a partner, possibly tracy, that they go and help others with powers. Sorta like when claire tried helping the one guy with the vortex/blackhole power. That was still one of my favorite episodes.

I hated this conversation. I get that the writers want to write a redemption arc for Bennet, but do they really have to show him hating everything about his job at the Company? I don't see why he couldn't take the position that he did good things at the Company, but a lot of bad things too. It seems like with this scene and the lines about how he never helped even one person, they're just trying to undermine his entire Company history (not erase it, but undermine it's validity to him as a person).
You could say I'm biased because I love Bennet the Company Man, but it's driving me crazy.

A good reason why not is that having a Shakespeare quoting gun-totting bad-expletive is cliché at best, and a lead reason for the downfall of Star Trek VI. The likely continuing of HRG character in that teacher direction would likely have every TV viewers' head implode and several schools to be shut down due to No Child Left Behind.

Great. Now I'm imagining Bennet as my English teacher.
I would have been kicked out of school.

I think it's funny that both Angela and Noah were planning to become teachers before special powers interfered.
Personally, I can well imagine Noah Bennet as a teacher. Makes him a lot more endearing to me.

I really need to borrow him to shoot some sense into my current Year 13 English course.
