I'd really love to know what "genius" (forgive the sarcasm) came up with the time slot for Heroes. I think it's an awesome show and all, but can't watch it due to FOOTBALL!! I hate football!! In my house, the man rules.. So when football comes on, everything else stops. Including movies you're in the middle of watching, and Heroes. Football has been on for years, and is a formitable foe for any show that airs at the same time. So why take the risk of losing viewers of a REALLY GOOD show by running it the same day and Time as Monday Night Football?? It's been like this for years, and I'm sick of it.

Umm...probably because Monday night was the only time slot NBC had open without risking already guaranteed ratings grabbers.
And the time slot was not a problem through S1 and S2. S3 had no problem with the time, just with the writing. They moved it up an hour this year, but (again) has had no problems with the time slot. They're bringing in viewers still.

Still think they made a mistake dropping Heroes to an hour earlier and running it directly against House.
I still DVR Heroes and watch House live.
It's a real shame because those two shows are the ONLY ones I consistently make time in my schedule for. Used to be you could add Fringe to that list but I fell a couple weeks behind on that show and, in true Lost fashion, decided to stop watching until I could catch up properly.

Your problem is easily solved by DVR or watching the episodes online through Hulu or NBC.com.

Tru that! Worked like a champ last week when my grandpa's birthday bash and barely-able-to-happen visit by my aunt ran into Heroes time.

Heroes plops right in the middle of my class Monday nights, but luckily the class has been getting out early so I can watch it live. I feel dirty when I have to watch Heroes on my computer (unless it is the next day, and I am rewatching it), somthing about knowing I could have seen it sooner just makes me ill. I must have Heroes as soon as it is available, which is Mondays at 8. Anything else just doesn't cut it.

Heroes will soon move back to 9. With Chuck as a lead in, since Trauma got axed by NBC. I don't remember when (hey, I don't even live in the US, so it doesn't concern me), but happen, it will.

I don't even know what time slot Heroes is in, have no TV programming. It's either Hulu or nothing. My Heroes days are Tuesdays and my Fringe days are Fridays, hah.

This is happening now? That's great! I heard that Chuck was going to be on a 9 and Heroes would still be on at 8. If this is happening, that's great. I can't wait!
