Ok, let me know if I am totally off-base, but why is Odessa High School having a homecoming parade in Midland, TX? they are 20 miles apart. Sure, maybe Odessa is playing Midland for homecoming, but why would you travel there to rub it in that "we're going to beat you" in their hometown? Is it a traveling parade of cheerleaders riling up their opponents?

I guess I'm just a little confused about that one.

It's a good question. The cities are actually really close together (20 miles makes it sound farther than it really is), but an Odessa team would still have the Homecoming in Odessa. It's Union Wells High, not Odessa High, so maybe the school is situated sort of on the border of the towns and the school district encompasses sections of both Midland and Odessa? (Texas school districts are sort of effed up so this is totally possible.)

Also, I think their chant said they were playing a San Antonio team. I might be way off on that.

Maybe those girls just REALLY want to spread the team spirit around.

Another possibility could be that Hiro teleported past-Sylar from Midland to Odessa when their business was finished in Midland. How would Hiro have known that Sylar was meant to go to Zane Taylor and act as Mohinder then Zane himself after killing Charlene anyway? Then Dale Smithers (hearing), etc.? IMO Hiro only knew about Sylar killing/going to be killing Isaac, Charlie, and Claire if I'm not mistaken. This could also cover the one butterfly not having charlie's power presented: GN Road Kill where Sylar then used her power to easily learn how to drive the truck to Zane's town. Hiro, to his knowledge I think, just ported Sylar to his presumed next "target" Claire in Odessa.

If I'm mistaken please tell me so I can make since of this new timeline.
