If you get TV Guide in the mail for the week of October 9-15, Check out pages 30 AND 31! Two full pages of nothing but the Heroes main cast (minus D.L., but there's some info on him), and two HUGE spoilers concerning both Peter and Micah!

Okay, okay. I haven't really done this before, but I just hope this color works out:
(Spoiler info)Peter's ability will be the same as Rogue from the X-Men. He'll be able to absorb other people's powers, but according to ol' Mr. Kring, Peter "will be tempted whether to use it for good or evil." As for Micah, it's still not known what his power will be, but Kring says it'll be "something very different than either of his parents."(end of spoiler)
Okay, this concludes this test of the emergency spoiler system. Had this been an actual emergency, I would've changed the spoiler color!

Booooooooo on the Peter issue. That's such a cop out man. I like his character, but yea..that make's his brother just that much more lame cause it really looks like his bro will just use his power for his political career or worse yet not use it at all (think of the lives he could save...)

The two-page spread is awesome, but I found two of our Heroes on page 14 in the same issue! Nathan and Peter--I mean, Adrian and Milo--strike a very funny pose in the TV Guide Photo Booth. It'll be the pic on the furthest left on the page. I'll scan it in when I get home from work this afternoon (yeah, it's only about 5:30 a.m. here in Montgomery right now).

Thanks to forum member ncmacasl, whose TV Guide (October 9-15th edition) landed in his mailbox with a listing of all the “Heroes” powers as revealed by the man himself, Tim Kring. So who has what power, and what will they do with it? Read on…
Niki Sanders (Ali Larter):
Niki’s power is still unclear - both to her and the audience - but it appears the single mom/stripper has a split personality. Says executive producer Tim Kring, “Her journey is about figuring out how to unify this other side of her and ultimately to control it.”
Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar):
The would-be congressman has the power of flight - and he’s not happy about it. “A guy running for office is really under a microscope,” Kring says. “Nathan doesn’t want [to be seen as] strange and unappealing.”
Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia):
Nathan’s younger brother, a disillusioned nurse, will learn - SPOILER ALERT - that he has the ability to absorb other people’s powers. But beware, Kring says: “He will be tempted whether to use it for good or evil.”
Mohinder Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy):
Picking up where his murdered dad left off, the genetics professor is trying to prove that superheroes really exist. “He’s on a journey to discover what his father knew and why he died for knowing it,” Kring says.
Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka):
After discovering he can bend the space-time continuum - and teleport himself across the world - the Japanese office worker couldn’t be happier. “It’s no coincidence that we named him Hiro,” Kring says. “He truly is on a hero’s quest.”
Claire Bennet (Hayden Panettiere):
The Texas cheerleader is indestructible, but “like any teenager, the last thing she wants is to be different from everybody,” Kring says. Tune in October 9 to see just how tough she really is.
Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg):
A lowly L.A. Cop, Matt is slowly learning that he has telepathic powers. “It’s both a blessing and a curse,” says Kring. “He hears what he wants to, but also what other people really think of him.” The FBI will enlist his help in tracking the mysterious serial killer Sylar.
Micah Sanders (Noah Gray-Cabey):
Micah inherited more than good looks from mom Niki and super-powered dad (introduced in Episode 5). Kring says Micah’s special ability is “something very different than either of his parents.”
Isaac Mendez (Santiago Cabrera):
The tortured artist predicts the future when he paints in a heroin-induced haze. “Early in the season, he’s trying to figure out if these powers exist when he isn’t high,” Kring says.
Simone Deveaux (Tawny Cypress):
[Special Power:] None. “You can’t have an entire show where everybody has a power,” says Kring. “She’s a very important character because she’s the voice of the average person saying, ‘this is crazy. This isn’t real!’ ”

I can't believe my coadmin figured out Peter's true power!
And for Simone, she starts the Devareux Foundation, similar to Xavier in Xmen.

Everyone has this awesome power, and Peter can just steal 'em all. That just plain sucks. 'Specially for Hiro. Any of you guys read Naruto? Just compare it to the Sharingan. Anything you come up with, any super awesome power that you have that is UNIQUE to you, this power can basically steal it and copy it. Then they can use it to their own means. That just plain sucks. I don't personally hate Peter, just his power. It's like plagarism incarnate. Peter's a nice guy. Just that his power sucks worse than weak-minded w----

What if Peter is really Sylar?

I know that he wouldn't be...but since he absorbs peoples powers...and then it is said if he will use it for good or evil...what does that tell u?
But if Kring would have said, "uses it for only good.." then that would be like, okay he's good lol. Eh, that's just me.

I just have to wonder if peter is like rogue on xmen does he have to be in physical contact to use the powers? Rogue did, i have to say i'd be disappointed if he had to be in direct contact with the person. I'd really like to see him get powers and stop being in his older bros shadow.

Actually, if you know anything about the sharingan in Naruto, you should know it cannot copy the truly unique powers (i.e. the blood-line limits).
We know very little about Peter's power, its potential, its limitations. Don't write it off before we've even had a chance to find out what it's all about.

I agree. I want to see how this will play out in the grand scheme of the season.
