welcome

anyway i believe that she has a split personailty (maybe like a chimera taken to another level), who is obviously trying to help her, just doing it in a not so nice way

The mirror lady is kinda weird dont you tihnk? i mean. what kind of a super power is having a second identity? come one i mean:

Hiro can teleport through space and time,
The painter can tell the future,
The cop reads peoples minds,
The brothers can both fly,
the indian dude is a scientist,
and even the kid is really smart!

but what does the woman do? she murders people and doesnt know it. i dont think this fits in now. maybe later but now it doesnt really make sense. huh.gif

btw.. hi biggrin.gif

Yeah the whole mirror thing is probably in her head but she probably does have some sort of super human abilitys like all the things she did was in 4 hours so probably some speed huh.gif ?

I think the mirror thing is in her head, like Norman Osborn/Green Goblin scenes in Spider-Man... Her power is something similar to the Hulk..

Nikis power is a doppelg?nger which is a ghostly double of another person. often times a person can only see their doppelg?nger in a highly reflective serfice like a mirror. thats y the camera went out because the ghost took over. ghosts and electronics dont mix

Maybe Niki is sylar?

I'm not so sure she has a doppelganger as you suggest. The camera bugging out is certainly a mystery, but I see Niki's situation as much more of a Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde scenario. She has an extremely dangerous alternate personality that is also highly intelligent and fully aware of the normal Niki. This Hyde-esque also appears to have surfaced and killed before, seeing as there was already a body burried by the shovel. My guess is the old corpse was her old boyfriend that the cops are after.
This alternate personality appears to be triggered by violence, as when the thug hits Niki and when she begins watching the tape and hears the thugs being killed. So far it fully has Niki's interests in mind, and it should be interesting to see how the personalities clash in the future.

Just some thoughts from my over-analytic mind.

I don't think ghostly doubles fit in either. It has to be like the Hulk or Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. (The version where Mr. Hyde becomes not only crazy but stronger too.) When Nikki's alter ego killed Linderman's goons, the big guy was ripped apart. Maybe not superstrength but definitely a superhuman ability.

Okay, so here's my theory:

Hiro can travel through time, right? I believe that Nikki is just superhumanly fast, and strong. So, a little while into the future, everyone meet up, but they realize that Nikki is superhuman and doesn't have a double, and she doesn't know why, but then somebody realizes that the reason she thought she had a double is because Hiro transported her back in time, and she helped herself out, so that she didn't die and wreck the timeline.

Terrible theory, I know, but I thought I'd get it out there.

It's not her boyfriend. The man's name is D.L. and he's scheduled to play another character that will appear later in the series.

That dead man in the burial site could be the head of the mob who ordered her to be dead.

There are many possibilities to what could be going on with Niki.

I like the idea that there is an uncontrollable superhuman side to her that she doesn't know about. How cool would that be to play out...
